Exciting plans are afoot as we plan to open the first UK truffle centre in late 2023/24.
Based on a historical farmstead, the centre will house a truffle visitor centre with associated orchard and will also be home to our new advanced research laboratory. You’ll be able to book on-site accommodation and the centre will focus on education, with our truffle orchard including walkways with information boards about the biology and the history of truffle cultivation. We’ll also be offering a series of events, including truffle hunting demos and truffle tasting experiences!
The research arm of the centre will host PhD students and visiting researchers involved in our current and future projects.
We hope that the truffle centre will also play a role in encouraging more truffle hunters to join the industry and help with the shortage of trained dogs! If you have a proven truffle hunting hound or are interested in what our plans are for our very own truffle hub, please get in touch. We would love to hear from you.
