The basic
planting rate will rise by a thousand pounds for broadleaves (a suitable grant for truffle plantations) to £2,800/ha. New woodland that delivers key national
priorities will receive £4,800/ha and new broadleaved woodland delivering other priorities will receive £3,800/ha (simply planting 5ha or more may make a site
eligible for these higher levels).
Farm Woodland Payment rates remain the same, and remember that if you are eligible for Single Payment Scheme on the land to be planted, you can continue to claim SPS as well as Farm Woodland Payments.
This is exciting support for the planting of native woodland, including truffle plantations. We can tailor your plantation to ensure you get the most
out of the grants that are available and will prepare all the grant forms for those entering our partnership programme. For more information about truffle
