Truffle seminar and dinner
On Saturday October 24th 2015, Sheffield’s Inox Resturant will be hosting a night celebrating truffles. The evening starts at 7.00pm and will include a journey through the fascinating world of truffles hosted by expert mycologist Dr Paul Thomas.
Earlier in the day (4.00pm-6.00pm), at a separate seminar, there is an opportunity for anyone who is interested in cultivating truffles to hear an informative talk about the technical aspects of growing these delicacies and to have round table discussions. This is highly recommended for anyone interested in growing truffles.
As the seminar covers everything from what a truffle actually is right through to the practical aspects of setting up a plantation it really is a great event to come to if you’re thinking about truffle cultivation, regardless of what stage you’re at in the process.
The seminar is free to attend but booking is required. You can secure your place by emailing Sam Ellis (Shop@Plantationsystems.com).
During the optional evening dinner, you will have the opportunity to taste a selection of truffles over drinks before a surprise three course menu is served. The Head Chef Joe Berry will be creating the menu for the evening using truffles to complement the finest seasonal ingredients. Last year it was absolutely delicious so we're expecting to be in for a treat again this year!
Tickets must be purchased in advance. For more information around the truffle dinner and to book, please follow the link below:
