Our trees are grown from seed on-site and regularly checked for mycorrhizal coverage. When delivered, they measure 10–60 cm and are 1–2 years old. In the UK, truffle production typically begins around year 6, with trees continuing to produce for decades. For best results, the trees and soil should be carefully maintained and optimised for truffle cultivation.
Our Tuber magnatum trees are inoculated with wild Italian truffle. These should be planted with the understanding that this is a very new and experimental process here in the UK.
Growing Information- Truffle trees require a soil pH of 7.6 + to be at a level we would consider “optimal” for cultivation. These trees should be planted immediately on arrival. Choose a sheltered position on moist, well-drained soil in sun or semi shade.
